Edie Schutz

Edie Schutz, lead elementary teacher, is a native of the Washington, DC, area. She graduated from The University of Alabama with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Mrs. Schutz began her teaching career at Siena and is now entering her tenth year at the school. She enjoys working at Siena because of the energetic students, inspiring faculty, and supportive community. Outside of teaching you can find her playing ball hockey, cheering on her favorite DC sports teams and Alabama football, or spending time with her family.

Why I Teach At Siena: because Siena is a place where everyone is making a big impact every single day. I enjoy working with a group of individuals who are passionate about the subjects they teach and who inspire me daily. Most of all I teach at Siena for the students. I look forward to coming to work every day because of them.
