Shannon Robichaud

Shannon Robichaud (Ms. Roby), elementary teacher, is thrilled to be returning to Siena. She graduated from Fairfield University in May 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She stayed at Fairfield for an additional graduate year to pursue her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, which she obtained in August 2014. She then moved to Orlando, Florida, to participate in the Disney College Program at the Walt Disney World Resort, where she made magic and created happiness until May 2015. She taught Kindergarten and 1st grade for six years in DC Public Schools, and she is currently in the process of becoming a Certified Academic Language Therapist through the Atlantic Seaboard Dyslexia Education Center (ASDEC). Shannon also obtained her Professional Dyslexia Certificate from the University of Florida in August of 2022. In her spare time, she enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons, cosplaying, voice acting, tap dancing, and spending time with her family. 

Why I Teach At Siena: I love to work with children and believe that learning is not one-size-fits-all; I strive to provide instruction that is both accessible and tailored to students' needs. I also love Siena's philosophy and values, and I'm so excited to be back with the Siena family!
