Katie Barnett
Katie Barnett, middle and high school reading teacher, received her B.A. in Speech Communication at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and her M.Ed. in Special Education at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She is an Associate Level (A/OGA) Member of the Orton-Gillingham Academy. Katie has over 15 years of elementary and middle school teaching experience in both the public and independent school setting in Northern Virginia and California. When she is not teaching, she can be found playing games with her family, reading, or spending time outdoors.
