Cindy Gunja

Cindy Gunja, elementary teacher, comes to Siena with over 20 years of early childhood and elementary teaching experience as a classroom and reading resource teacher in independent schools and a few years as an outdoor educator. She loves teaching young people about nature, science, people, and helping them to develop a strong sense of self, identity, and community. If not in the classroom, you would probably find her checking on her plants, cuddling with her stuffed animals, or adventuring with family and friends. 

Why I Teach At Siena: To help our students find, hone, and harness their strengths as learners and to cheer them on and lift them up as they do so.
