Nathaniel Small

Nathaniel Small, language arts teacher, is excited to be joining The Siena School community at the Northern Virginia campus. He has a Bachelor of Arts in English and American literature from Trinity College (CT) and an M.A. in Renaissance English literature from Northwestern University. Nathaniel has previously taught at a wide variety of schools, including boarding schools, day schools, K-12 schools, progressive schools, Montessori schools, LD schools, and traditional schools. The Siena School embodies so many of his favorite things from previous schools.

Why I Teach at Siena: I am dedicated to being in a small, self-aware, and nurturing educational environment. The Siena School certainly meets those criteria.
