Shannon Robichaud

Shannon Robichaud, substitute teacher. is a founding faculty member and has taught language arts, English, drama, and skills classes in Siena's elementary and middle school divisions. In addition to substituting, Ms. Roby also supports reading across divisions. Ms. Roby graduated from Fairfield University in May 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She stayed at Fairfield for an additional graduate year to pursue her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, which she obtained in August 2014. She taught Kindergarten and 1st grade for six years in DC Public Schools, and she is currently in the process of becoming a Certified Academic Language Therapist through the Atlantic Seaboard Dyslexia Education Center (ASDEC), where she also worked on her training in Multisensory Math I. She also obtained her Professional Dyslexia Certificate from the University of Florida and is currently an Academic Language Practitioner.
