Shannon Robichaud

Shannon Robichaud, elementary and middle school teacher and elementary lead teacher, is a founding faculty member and has taught language arts, English, math, drama, and history classes in Siena's elementary and middle school divisions. Ms. Roby graduated from Fairfield University in May 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She stayed at Fairfield for an additional graduate year to pursue her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, which she obtained in August 2014. She taught Kindergarten and 1st grade for six years in DC Public Schools, and she is currently in the process of becoming a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) through the Atlantic Seaboard Dyslexia Education Center (ASDEC). She also obtained her Professional Dyslexia Certificate from the University of Florida and is currently an Academic Language Therapist (ALT).

Why I Teach at Siena: Because it is important to me that my students learn to love their language differences and all the strengths that come with it.
