Empowering students with language-based learning differences
Laura Fodge
Laura Fodge, elementary teacher, is a native of Wilmington, Delaware, and has over 20 years of experience in elementary education both independent and public schools. While Laura has taught several elementary grades and spent three years as an elementary school principal at Ursuline Academy in Delaware, most of her experience has been teaching fourth grade. When Laura returned to Virginia two years ago, she decided to return to her true love of being in the classroom as a teacher. Laura earned a B.A. in psychology from Gettysburg College and an M.A. in Elementary Education from American University. Laura enjoys reading, dabbling in art, and spending time with her family and friends. She is currently in the process of becoming certified in Orton-Gillingham at the Associate Level.
