Simon Kanter
Simon Kanter, director of technology, has worked in education technology since 2012. He came to Siena from Sheridan School, where he was a Technology Coordinator focused on systems administration, maintenance, and classroom technology integration. Before that, he managed the student-run help desk at Grinnell College, where he received a B.A. in Religious Studies. Simon has over a decade of experience in education technology. In November 2019, he hosted Siena's Middle States Continuing Excellence Colloquium on Authentic Assessment; in May 2020, he co-presented, along with the Head of School, an international webinar on distance learning administration through IDA (International Dyslexia Association). Recently, he has run several webinars for educators about AI and its evolving role in education.
