Jillian Curd

Jillian Curd, reading teacher, gained experience working with diverse learners after becoming Orton-Gillingham (OG) trained and working as a reading specialist in the greater Indianapolis area. After attending Ball State University, she dedicated the early parts of her career to multisensory reading intervention and learning ways to help students with learning differences reach their full potential. Equipped with advanced knowledge of OG and phonemic awareness instruction, Jillian has helped students with an array of differences, such as (but not limited to) dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD/ADD, and anxiety.
Why I Teach at Siena: Siena’s mission and dedication to creating a safe and nourishing environment for diverse learners is truly endearing. I greatly value working with a team committed to making a difference for the students!
