Maya Kratzke
Middle School English Teacher, DEIB Committee Chair

Maya Kratzke, high school dean of students and middle school English teacher, holds a double-B.A. in Creative Writing and Literary Studies from Beloit College, an M.S. in Secondary Education from Johns Hopkins University, and a Certificate in School Management & Leadership from Harvard University. Outside Siena, Ms. Kratzke serves on the AMLE Board of Trustees and the Middle School Advisory Network for MBA Research. A short story writer by trade, she has published short stories in The Write Launch and The Bangalore Review.
Why I Teach At Siena: because I believe that every child deserves to learn in a way that not only supports their brain but also encourages their strengths.
