Simon Kanter

Simon Kanter, director of technology, has worked in education technology since 2012. He came to Siena from Sheridan School, where he was a Technology Coordinator focused on systems administration, maintenance, and classroom technology integration. Before that, he managed the student-run help desk at Grinnell College, where he received a B.A. in Religious Studies. In between, Simon has interned in tech departments in the legal and financial sectors. In November 2019, he hosted Siena's Middle States Continuing Excellence Colloquium on Authentic Assessment; in May 2020, he co-presented, along with the Head of School, an international webinar on distance learning administration through IDA (International Dyslexia Association).
Why I Work At Siena: because each student here has a story to tell. To help them tell it is my passion.
