Rozmia Fattah, middle and high school math teacher, graduated from the George Washington University with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and English. During her time at GWU, Rozmia held a leadership position in her university’s chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics, promoting diverse voices in STEM and strengthening community in the mathematics department. She also spent two years as a STEM Learning Assistant at Frederick Community College, tutoring high school and college students in a wide range of math courses. In her free time, Rozmia can be found endlessly reading, writing, and practicing her Arabic.
Why I Teach At Siena: I find so much joy in elevating others in a subject like math, as someone who was fortunate to have that same experience with my own educators growing up. Providing students with the utmost support in their education has been a long-time passion of mine.
