Tabletop Titans

In this twelve-week enrichment program, students will dive into the thrilling world of tabletop wargaming—combining creativity, strategy, and hands-on craftsmanship (learn more about tabletop wargaming). Each week, students will learn the essential skills of the hobby, from assembling and painting miniatures to mastering the rules and tactics of gameplay. Students will have the opportunity to explore the world of Warhammer 40,000. Early sessions include model assembly and painting techniques, giving students the chance to bring their armies to life with their own unique style. As the weeks progress, students will practice game mechanics in small-scale scenarios before moving into larger, strategic battles. Students will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and sportsmanship skills as they learn the deeper strategies of positioning, resource management, and teamwork.

Sessions will be held on Tuesdays, beginning at 3:30pm and extending until 5:00pm. All materials for miniature assembly and painting will be provided. Students are encouraged to purchase their own miniature starter set to have their own miniatures to keep but it is not required.

We are also excited to announce a partnership with the nearby store, Games Workshop, who will help us learn to paint the miniatures and play the game. By the end of the program, students will have created their own personalized models, gained a foundation in tabletop wargaming strategy, and taken part in epic battles with their peers—emerging as true Tabletop Titans!

Space will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline for registering is Friday, September 19th

Autumn Acrylic Art: Still Life and Landscape

In this intensive studio course, students will explore the colorful world of acrylic painting through creative, fall-themed projects. Each session will balance skill-building with creative expression, giving students the freedom to develop their own style while building confidence in their techniques. Each student will work toward completing two fall-themed paintings during this time.

Space will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline for registering is Friday, September 19th
